Hi Guys!

After a short night on the ferry we arrived in Italy this morning. Then we had a fast and rough ride through the south of Italy and finally reached Sicilly with another ferry. The italian police is very understanding as they never stopped us and other Gumballers that were stopped didn't have to pay a fine.
Now we are chilling out on the pool of our very nice Hotel. Both cars of team GT3000 are still running great and were amongst the first ten cars once again.

Hi Guys!

Yesterday we drove from Prague to Budapest via Vienna. The drive was very nice and Vienna was entirely Gumball crazy. Several thousand people showed up on the checkpoint. After Vienna the next checkpoint was the Hungaro Ring where we enjoied some fast laps. In the evening we arrived in Budapest and had a short night as we had to start today at 7 am.
After a fast drive through Hungary and in to Croatia we had the checkpoint at a famous waterfall. Afterwards we drove on to Drubovnik and had to face the first problems with the police. But finally both cars arrived among the first 10 and now we are waiting to enter the ferry to Italy.

The ferry journey from Dubrovnik to Bari takes eight hours, and the drivers better be able to sleep through the sea sickness because as soon as the ferry docks it's straight into a seven hour drive.

And what if you miss the ferry altogether? It's a WEEK long wait 'til the next one!

As if that wasn't enough for one day, the Gumballers swing by Vienna for lunch, then stop off at Hungaroring, Hungary's awesome F1 race track! The Gumball pack will arrive in Budapest (pronounced Boo-dah-pesht) as the sun sets on Monday night. The Hungarian capital is made up of two parts - Buda and Pest, which are split down the middle by the River Danube. The drivers will be treated to a raucous dinner party at the beautiful Kempinski Hotel - widely regarded as one of Europe's top hotels, which overlooks the river in the centre of the city.

Here are the latest news from Ant & Pete:

The drive to Folkestone saw several cars stopped for speeding the few that we have details of are 2 cars caught together one at 124mph and the other at 123mph we believe these were European cars.

Another car was chased by Kent traffic police; Quote the cop ‘I was doing 141mph and you were pulling away from me’ the driver was given a caution and sent on his way. We arrived at the Euro tunnel in time for the earlier train than Gumball had booked however by the time we had got a burger king they had just closed the barrier. 10 cars made this first train so when we hit France we had some catching up to do which was quite difficult as we had been told Belgium police would be ready and waiting for us with a Zero tolerance and high speed would see your car impounded and sold. Both cars finally arrived in Prague amongst the first 15. The start in London was amazing with several thousands of fans of the gumball cheering the drivers. But even more amazing was the checkpoint in Acoz, Belgium. Rumours say it were more then 12000 (!!!) people there. It was just incredible. Now we are chilling in the Hotel in Prague, enjoying the famous Czech beer.

Car 51 has send me an email 5 minutes ago. It's a really impressive car with a GPS tracker, too.

Car 21 has a real time GPS tracking system fiited and a website to view its progress every 15 minutes starting at 8:00am saturday morning (or at least when it comes out of the underground car park)

There’s nothing normal about this Range Rover as it comes with a Chevrolet 6.3 litre engine giving 400bhp with a 0 – 60 in 6.6 seconds this car is also equipped with active ride suspension which means it corners like a sports car. Alcon braking system and a new custom bonnet complete with grills and scoop to let excess heat out from the engine bay so we can cope with longer driving at higher speeds, there is also the possibilities of blue neon’s for the under body of the car (I would just like to say that I had nothing to do with this, but somebody must have suggested it) We will be carrying the number 21 (lucky) on the car this time around.

Some nice pictures from the '6 Days In May' DVD Premiere in London. Hot babes and cars on the red carpet. 6 Days in May is the title about the 2004 Gumball 3000 movie. Very interesting is a picture were we can see the supercar Gumpert Apollo. I hope this fantastic car will also join the rally, too.
